Nepal is a country of amazing extremes. The single sentence
describes almost everything about Nepal from its mountain to
cultural heritage to its art and architecture. Despite this
fact, we have not been able to cash in on the resources that
Mother Nature has poured on us.
We have people from other countries coming with holistic
intension to do something for Nepal, its people and tourism.
Tony Hagon would be the glaring example. But why do we Nepalese
fail to do the same? Nepal is not been able to provide enough
drinking water to its citizen even after being the second
richest country in water resources and has not been able to
attract tourist even after having god gifted infrastructures for
tourism. What is basically lacking is proper co-ordination
between mission vision and objectives.
A quick look at the national flag carrier of Nepal itself
reflects on how the country is performing. This once bright star
of the nation with aircraft numbering in double figures and
reliable, generous and beautiful service has now gone to the
docks. People who knew nothing about aviation took up the chains
of command and total ruined, it is a crying shame. A wound and
gash from which the corporation and the country have yet to
recover. Be it political or economical, every sector of the
country seems hard hit by unwelcome circumstances the reason for
this being obvious.,
But the concerned authorities seem least interested in doing any
thing regarding the matter. If put in other words, they seem too
busy with their own matters rather than looking at the national
problems right under their noses.
Another Case of Mismanagement!
